Cnc lathe setter — Bridgend county borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Bridgend county borough, Wales. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret. 5+ years on the tools preferred. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
