Ladle pourer wanted in Breckinridge County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Performance bonus on top of base pay.
