Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Hart County, Georgia. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills 3+ years on the tools preferred.
