Now hiring: cake decorator (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cake decorator in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
