Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in City of Radford, Virginia. You will work at a busy bakery. You will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
