Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Vale of Glamorgan

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
