Pipe TIG welder • Tucker County, West Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Tucker County, West Virginia. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
