Plasterer's mate — Haywood County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Haywood County, North Carolina. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Performance bonus on top of base pay.
