Gas service engineer • Barbour County, Alabama

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Barbour County, Alabama. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. You will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
