Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Day to day you will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing.
