Production welder — Woodson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Woodson County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence.
