Concrete shuttering carpenter • Takai, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Takai, Kano State. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
