Ladle pourer wanted in Kauai County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Kauai County, Hawaii. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
