Backhoe operator • Cumberland County, Maine

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Cumberland County, Maine. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. On a typical shift you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
