Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Deaf Smith County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds The role involves give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
