Material handler — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Vacancy available: we are hiring a material handler in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a builders' merchant yard. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift • Reliable timekeeping and good attendance Day to day you will replenish pick faces from bulk storage; load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck; report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor; segregate returns and process them back into stock; scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS.
