MIG/MAG welder wanted in Mesa County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Mesa County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
