We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
