Industrial sewing operator — Ziebach County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Ziebach County, South Dakota. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time, day shift.
