Reinforcement fitter — Baldwin County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Baldwin County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
