Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Lincoln County, Kansas. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. You should have: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds Your main tasks: • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
