Long-haul driver — Marlboro County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Marlboro County, South Carolina. Day to day you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules. Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
