Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Marion County, Florida. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
