CNC mill setter-operator wanted in Newport County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
