Argon welder wanted in Tama County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Tama County, Iowa. You will be based on a structural steel site. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
