Urgent requirement: ladle pourer (Akwa Ibom State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Etim Ekpo, Akwa Ibom State. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
