Garden maintenance worker wanted in Sabine County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Sabine County, Texas. You will be based at a landscaping company. You will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
