Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Perry County, Mississippi. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
