Gas metal arc welder — Trimble County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Trimble County, Kentucky. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
