Vertical milling machine operator • Montgomery County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Montgomery County, North Carolina. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Overtime paid at a premium rate.
