Gantry crane operator • Missoula County, Montana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Missoula County, Montana. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
