Immediate opening: tiler (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiler in Botetourt County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
