Shuttering carpenter • Denver County, Colorado

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Denver County, Colorado. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork You will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
