Vacancy available: metal roofing fitter (New Mexico)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. You will be based at a busy roofing firm. You should have: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Your main tasks: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck 6+ years on the tools preferred.
