Brick and block layer • Fillmore County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Fillmore County, Nebraska. You will work on a new-build development. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
