Great opportunity: we are hiring a production operative in Chemung County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
