Vacuum press operator wanted in Scott County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Scott County, Kentucky. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
