Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Rock County, Wisconsin. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Part-time with flexible hours.
