Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Charlotte County, Virginia. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures On the job you will handle: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels 4+ years on the tools preferred.
