Tyre fitter wanted in Sherman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Sherman County, Kansas. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Day-to-day duties: • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Six days a week, one day off.
