Day to day you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; set up and start the machine as per the job card.
