Vehicle technician • Alexander County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vehicle technician in Alexander County, Illinois. You will be based in a fleet maintenance depot. Day-to-day duties: • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
