Reinforcement fitter wanted in East Sussex

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in East Sussex, England. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions.
