Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Sherman County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Part-time with flexible hours.
