Tig welder wanted in Harding County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Harding County, New Mexico. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
