Elevator service technician wanted in Laurel County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Laurel County, Kentucky. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; measure rope tension and check for broken strands.
