Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Cape May County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Cape May County, New Jersey. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
