Fusing press operator — County of Ceredigion

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in County of Ceredigion, Wales. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
