Vehicle body repairer • Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. You will work at a paint and panel shop. Your main tasks: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
