Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
